This Privacy Policy describes how MIRAMA, LLC (“MIRAMA,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit miramacollective.com (the “Site”), use our software, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). “You” and “your” refer to you as a user of the Services. By using the Services, you accept this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Subscribe to our email list (your email address)
  • Submit our contact form (your name, email address, message subject, and message content)
  • Communicate with us by email at info@miramacollective.com

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type and language, device type, pages viewed, time spent, and referring URL. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies provided by our hosting platform, Shopify Inc.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide support
  • To send you newsletters about our releases when you have opted in
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising on third-party platforms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with:

  • Shopify Inc., our e-commerce platform provider, which hosts the Site and processes form submissions on our behalf
  • Email service providers we use to deliver our newsletter
  • Analytics providers (for example, Google Analytics) that help us understand how MIRAMA Alpha is used, where applicable
  • Law enforcement or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights

4. Our Software

MIRAMA publishes software including MIRAMA/dx10 and MIRAMA/count.

  • MIRAMA/count is a calculator application. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All calculations and data storage are performed locally on your device. count fetches live foreign exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank reference rates) over HTTPS for its currency converter. These requests contain only the currency pair being converted and no information about you.
  • MIRAMA/dx10 is an audio instrument. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. All audio synthesis is performed locally on your device.
  • MIRAMA Alpha (Fashion Intelligence) is currently in private beta and is offered by invitation. To access Alpha, you must provide an email address, which we use to authenticate and contact you about the beta. While you use Alpha, we collect usage analytics including pages viewed, session duration, device and browser information, referring URL, and approximate geographic region. We use industry-standard analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to collect and process this information. We use this data to understand how Alpha is being used, to improve the product, and to grow the audience. Alpha participants receive additional terms specific to the private beta at the time of access.

If our other software products begin collecting personal data in the future, they will publish a separate privacy notice and request your consent before any collection begins.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time
  • Object to processing or request portability

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Visitors

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
